If you live in Watauga County, AppalCART can get you to the PART bus which offers connections to Winston-Salem and Greensboro where you can catch a Greyhound bus, an Amtrak train or a bus to the Piedmont Triad Airport in Greensboro.

Monday through Friday AppalCART has van routes that you can make a reservation by calling 24hrs in advance. For a ride home from the evening bus, or For weekend service please call ten days in advance to reserve a trip.
